The Art of Gelatin Printing

Participants will learn about the versatile art of gelatin printing. Techniques incorporated will include paint layering, stencil use, eco printing, photo transfer and plate drawing. Participants will leave with a variety of prints that they create and knowledge to do gelatin printing on their own. Prints can be used as stand alone art, or incorporated into a variety of other art forms, which will be discussed. Supplies included. Instructed by Gretchen Kapity who is a member of the Chatham Artist Guild and has been a K-12 art teacher for 14 years. One-class session.
